The FSTM federates researchers, physicians, patient associations, cancer organizations
and pharmaceutical partners...
to promote basic, translational and clinical research on the tumor microenvironment;
to ensure the representativeness of the teams working in all the fields of fundamental, translational and clinical research on the microenvironment of solid and hematological tumors; in particular, the FSTM wishes to be a privileged interlocutor with national, European and international institutions, supervisory authorities, health professionals, other associations and the public for all the subjects concerning these fields;
to promote and support scientific, preclinical and clinical developments related to this field, in relation with the academic and industrial sectors;
to promote the exchange of information, expertise and tools between its members, in particular via this Internet site;
to organize training and teaching activities in all areas of the tumor microenvironment;
to be a place for exchanges and proposals on ethical questions concerning research on the tumor microenvironment;
to organize congresses and workshops;
to help finance research projects on the tumor microenvironment;
to disseminate to the general public and to patient associations information on fundamental, translational and clinical research on the tumor microenvironment.
